More shots from Balmy Alley
In my last post I showed everyone the beatiful photos taken at Balmy Alley of Sangeeta and Jeff during their engagement shoot. Unfortunately for us, that day was windy and cold particularly for an outdoors shoot. Sangeeta had mentioned how she couldn't believe how cold it was given that in a few days during the weekend temperatures were expected to be in the high 70s. We ended up only shooting at Balmy Alley for 15 minutes at most.
I loved that location so much I asked if they wanted to go back out there when the weather was better. Sure enough this past Sunday the weather in San Francisco was amazing, even at 6pm in the evening. We were able to get more shots in and around Balmy Alley.
Here are a few more shots.
This shot was fitting as they are having a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucuas.

Sangeeta + Jeff::Chemistry
Late last month I received a wonderful email from Sangeeta. She had seen an engagement session I did for her roommate's friend, Lauren and Joel. Well, luck had it that she liked Lauren and Joel's photos so much she commissioned me to capture the chemistry she has with Jeff in this beautiful engagement session. Turns out that they met back in New York while working for competing bio-tech/pharmaceutical companies.
Check out our wonderful session shot just yesterday. Thanks to all my peeps on Twitter who helped out w/ locations in the Mission District of San Francisco. Special shout out goes to my "visual technician" aka assistant (doesn't visual technician sound so much cooler) Hardy Wilson.
A group of French tourist came by to check out Balmy Alley too. I figured why not use them as props.
We went to Nectar Wine Bar in the Marina after Balmy Alley.

Nisha + Sean::Music
While attending the prestigious music school Berklee in Boston Nisha and Sean met. Their passion for music infused their love for one another and now they are to wed in Santa Rosa in the summer. When asking about locations for their engagement both wanted photos with a more nature and natural feel to it. Point Reyes National Seashores, one of the most beautiful gems in all of California was the perfect spot. On this particular day the wind was blowing at incredible speeds, but we still managed to get some incredible shots. Special shout out goes to my oldest son, Skylar, for coming out to assist his old man.
In the mean time, check out the beautiful music we created.

True Happiness::Ian
Though I was a bit under the weather today I had an amazing day with my baby boy Ian. Fatherhood is an absolutely amazing journey and I'm truly blessed to have the opportunity.
Here we are playing with manual focus and the self timer option on my D700.
At the California Academy of Science earlier today. He absolutely loves animals. Did I mention he's vegetarian like his mom and dad?
